About Me!

My name is Madison Barnes and I am a performer, choreographer, teacher, and trainer originally from Des Moines, IA. I have been dancing and singing in my parents' living room since the young age of 2 and haven't stopped since! I grew up as a competitive dancer & loved being onstage.

My love for performing grew when I performed on the Broadway National Tour of Billy Elliot The Musical for four years. Shortly after, I received my Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University and I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida.

I own & operate an online personal training business, Elevé Fit, where I work with people who want to maximize their potential. I specialize in training dancers through strength & conditioning programs. I want to teach dancers how to take care of their bodies, train like the athletes they are, and learn how to train safely, to prevent injury.
I teach dance and conditioning to dancers all across the country. I travel with Groove National Dance Competition teaching and judging during the fall and spring seasons. During the summer, I travel to studios choreographing solos, duets/trios, and group dances! I love working with students from all walks of life & encouraging them to be their best.

In my free time, I enjoy cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, reading, listening to podcasts, and being a lifetime learner. I love being by the ocean, walking outside, and going to the gym. I am incredibly grateful for all of my teachers, mentors, family, and friends for helping me achieve my goals.
Thanks for visiting!
