UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA | MAY 2023
At the beginning of May, I graduated with my Masters degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I had an itch to keep learning so I did some research and learned about the University of Florida's renowned APK program. I am so grateful for my professors, my fellow students, and my parents for their support and guidance during my time in school!
ELEVÉ FIT | JANUARY 2023
In December of 2022, I wanted to utilize my dance pedagogy, kinesiology, and physiology knowledge so I created my own online personal training business, ELEVÉ FIT! I strive to train dancers like the athletes they are so they perform at their highest level and to prevent injuries. I also encourage dancers to be self-aware & to take care of themselves.
TEACHING FOR GROOVE | 2022
During the 2022 fall dance season, I traveled around the United States teaching students from ages 4-18. I interacted with many different teachers and dancers from the industry in a convention setting. I loved getting the opportunity to share my knowledge of dance and give back to my community.
